KK-142 Field Fortification Machine Gun Nest

Designed from photographs and written accounts/diagrams found in the Osprey book Field Fortifications 1939-1945 this trench section has been purposely made too wide to historically exact but they do easily accommodate your bases of figures even if they are on Flames of War troop bases. Sometimes you have to sacrifice accuracy for playability.

The trench section to the rear of the machine gun nest is approx 150mm (6") long and matches in perfectly with the other sectons in our Field Fortification range. The Machine Gun Nest itself is as an exact a replica as the the ones found in the aforementioned Osprey book while still being a playable and useful gaming piece, the top section is removeable (see the rollover for details) andlog construction along with the double thick front wall and angle embrasure are totally accurate and authentic. Measuring in at almost 6 inches square this is not only a beatuful bit of terrain but is is also very substational.

The piece comes in 2 sections, both sections are cast in high quality Polyester Resin and is supplied unpainted.
