The Jagdpanzer IV was an improved and modified version of Stug III, designed as eventual replacement for it. In December of 1942, new tank destroyer with 100mm frontal armour, armed with 75mm Pak 42 L/70 gun a variant of the gun that was used to arm the Panther. Our Jagdpanzer IV 'Platoon in a Box' contains 4 resin castings of the L70 variants complete with moulded on Shurzen and rear deck stowage. The Platoon comes in two versions, the standard which contains 4 Jagdpanzer IV's and the de-luxe package which also contains KK-173 'Spiked' Jadgpanzer IV objective marker. All four tanks come in two sections a resin body and a separate Styrene gun barrel, some drilling and pinning is required. Tanks are cast in high quality Polyester Resin, while barrels are made from extruded styrene and are supplied unassembled and unpainted. |
